The former environmental impact assessment and unified environmental usage licencing laws were completely replaced on 1st January, 2006 with the introduction of a new regulatory system, which in opposition to the former one, equally includes the regulations concerning environmental impact assessments and the unified environmental usage licensing. The interpretation of the new law requires great attention – among other things because of its complexity – during both the classification of single activities, both the conduction of processes. The notion of preliminary analytical process was introduced, which test has to be done before the implementation of the activities and projects listed in the decree. The composition of analytical documentations (preliminary analytical documentation, environmental impact assessment, unified environmental usage licence documentation), the smooth process of licencing, the professionally based, clear and comprehensible presentation of all environmental information requires the aligned work of greatly experienced and competent experts from the point of view of the forecast of the results to be expected. Of course the new regulation – similarly to the former one – applies to not only the activities to be newly realized but it also applies to the capacity increase of a certain extent and to the extension and modification of the field of activity in the case of already operating institutions as well. Carrying out an environmental revision is similar to the above mentioned tasks in its complexity, which can occur as a result of legal or official obligation but it can be also performed on the initiative of a company. METRIC Ltd. with its greatly experienced experts and environmental measuring and testing laboratory background performs these complex environmental licencings, in the field of analyses it provides both the performance of analyses and the composition and presentation of documentations, and provides all-inclusive representation towards the authorities. |
